Katie + Sam's Wedding at Moriah Bottom Farm

From start to finish, this wedding was unbelievable.  Katie + Sam's wedding was over the top gorgeous and couldn't be stopped by a little rain.  I think the rain did us some good, because just look at those couple portraits in the field! Swooning, I must say.  From the bridesmaid dresses to the flowers, everything was simply perfect.  This was my first wedding at Moriah Bottom Farm with Koli Nichols and let me tell you, I cannot wait to shoot here again.  This venue is owned by Koli's family and is simply unreal.  The ceremony spot is beyond amazing with a gold chandelier hanging in the middle and several wooden doors surrounding it, capturing the perfect rustic chic look in the middle of the woods.  Katie and Sam's devotion for each other could light up an entire room.  They put everyone at ease around them knowing that they had just tied the knot.  The way that Sam would look at Katie just melted my heart and I am so glad I got to share their special day with you.

Have you checked out Abbie Mae Photography's new website!?
It can be found here! I will be soon transferring my blog posts to the website so stay tuned!

Emily + Luke's Gordo, Alabama Wedding

Emily & Luke's wedding day could not have gone more smoothly.  From a very calm bride to every single guest dancing at the end of the night, their wedding day was more than they could've asked for, said the couple.  This couple was absolutely infatuated with each other and their happiness filled the room.  Emily and Luke, thank you for letting me a part of your special day and giving me a chance to witness the love you have for one another.   My favorite part of the day was definitely the first look with Emily and her father, which you will see down below.  That moment when your father, the one that has raised you as his little girl, is about to let you go into another man's life.  It was so sweet and so heartwarming to see both of them have tears streaming down their faces.  Make sure to check out both cakes as well.  I am a sucker for Reese's Pieces, so Luke's groom cake was absolutely to die for!  A few pictures down you will also see the custom cuff links that Emily had made for Luke.  They are so sweet and thoughtful! I cannot begin to thank Jennifer McAteer enough for letting me be her second shooter.  She has been such an inspiration to my work, so make sure to look at her website.   Overall this wedding was nothing short of amazing and filled with many emotions.
How thoughtful are these custom cuff links...
Such an adorable sweet look with daddy...
And an even more emotional first look with her soon to be husband...

These girls were stunning in their teal blue dresses...
There was no messes made here (Ok, maybe a little)...
Some alone time as husband and wife in the gorgeous Alabama nature...
First dance as Mr. and Mrs. Junkin...
