Cealie Evans // Simple Session

Miss Cealie Evans is one of the most gorgeous girls, inside and out, that I've ever met.  She has such a loving, kind heart and a fun attitude, especially when she's behind the camera.  Cealie is a freshman at American Christian Academy here in Tuscaloosa. We connected through social media and put a date on the calendar right away. We had a blast moseying around Northport, AL a couple weeks ago.  We started in a field right in front of the old railroad tracks where we proceeded to get attacked by red ants, but it was so worth it.  She then stunned me in this BCBG purple romper that she totally rocked at the end of her session.  I also want to thank her mom for coming along and being a huge help; it was so nice to meet the both of you! Thank you to Cealie and Dina for a fun filled day in Downtown Northport! ENJOY!

Camilla Shelby // Newborn Session

Camilla Shelby Morton is the sweetest little girl you ever did see.  It's not like she opened her eyes our entire session, but that made my job easy.  This little cutie was born Tuesday, August 11th at 2:50pm weighing 6'3 and 20 inches long to Britanny and Jason Morton.  Photographing Camilla at just 6 days old was probably the best decision a photographer has ever made; I swear the time makes a difference! I had the opportunity to photograph her mommy and daddy's wedding last year, as my first wedding ever.  When they contacted me to do their little girl's newborn pictures, I was more than willing.  As my first newborn session, I was so scared that I wasn't going to deliver the images that they wanted, but it makes me happy knowing that the Morton Family was thrilled with the images of their baby girl.  We had so much fun tiptoeing around and quietly moving her from place to place, but she never woke up.  I can't wait to keep up with this family and photograph this sweetie as she grows to be a beautiful woman.   Here's Camilla Shelby Morton...

Alise's Senior Session in San Juan Capistrano, CA

Miss Alise has one of the sweetest souls you will ever come across. I met her from cheerleading in San Diego, CA and was instantly drawn to her quirky laugh and beaming bright smile. I got to capture Alise and her boyfriend as the first couple I ever shot as Abbie Mae Photography. We have become friends over the past year and I was so thrilled when she asked me to do her senior pictures. Alise has just started her freshman year at Sonoma State University where she is studying sociology and business. Leaving home was hard for her, but she says that she is excited to start a new chapter of her life.

I would be lying if I didn't tell you that this was my favorite senior session to date. We shot in Old town San Juan Capistrano and at the San Clemente Pier. Let me just tell you, these two locations are absolutely to die for. We started in the early afternoon where the light was just perfect for the light and airy shots she wanted and then once, we got to the beach, I couldn't have asked for a better setting. The sunset was so gorgeous on the beach, too! We even had Alise's best friend, Hayden, join us. They got some super cute best friend pictures, as well. I always love when seniors bring their friends along.

 Enjoy!
