Camilla Shelby // Newborn Session

Camilla Shelby Morton is the sweetest little girl you ever did see.  It's not like she opened her eyes our entire session, but that made my job easy.  This little cutie was born Tuesday, August 11th at 2:50pm weighing 6'3 and 20 inches long to Britanny and Jason Morton.  Photographing Camilla at just 6 days old was probably the best decision a photographer has ever made; I swear the time makes a difference! I had the opportunity to photograph her mommy and daddy's wedding last year, as my first wedding ever.  When they contacted me to do their little girl's newborn pictures, I was more than willing.  As my first newborn session, I was so scared that I wasn't going to deliver the images that they wanted, but it makes me happy knowing that the Morton Family was thrilled with the images of their baby girl.  We had so much fun tiptoeing around and quietly moving her from place to place, but she never woke up.  I can't wait to keep up with this family and photograph this sweetie as she grows to be a beautiful woman.   Here's Camilla Shelby Morton...

Emily + Luke's Gordo, Alabama Wedding

Emily & Luke's wedding day could not have gone more smoothly.  From a very calm bride to every single guest dancing at the end of the night, their wedding day was more than they could've asked for, said the couple.  This couple was absolutely infatuated with each other and their happiness filled the room.  Emily and Luke, thank you for letting me a part of your special day and giving me a chance to witness the love you have for one another.   My favorite part of the day was definitely the first look with Emily and her father, which you will see down below.  That moment when your father, the one that has raised you as his little girl, is about to let you go into another man's life.  It was so sweet and so heartwarming to see both of them have tears streaming down their faces.  Make sure to check out both cakes as well.  I am a sucker for Reese's Pieces, so Luke's groom cake was absolutely to die for!  A few pictures down you will also see the custom cuff links that Emily had made for Luke.  They are so sweet and thoughtful! I cannot begin to thank Jennifer McAteer enough for letting me be her second shooter.  She has been such an inspiration to my work, so make sure to look at her website.   Overall this wedding was nothing short of amazing and filled with many emotions.
