Daniel + Allison's Surprise Proposal

So here it is, the second part to the story of the girl's graduation session.  The blog title totally gives away what happens, so I'm just going to go right into the story.  Daniel contacted me and said he had a proposal for me.  I didn't know what he meant by proposal until he did some more explaining.  He told me that he was going to buy his girlfriend and her best friend's a graduation session.  I thought, HOW SWEET?! But obviously there was more to the story.

He told me that Lindy was the only one that knew what was actually going on.  After taking pictures, I was to hand them a letter from Lindy's parents congratulating them on completing their college education.  They all had tears and opened champagne (as you saw in the last post, here).  I then proceeded to give them a second letter that Lindy was to read, at this point the girls had no clue what was going on.

The letter started out with 1 Corinthians 7:7 "I wish that all men were as I am. But each man has his own gift from God; one has this gift, and another has that." and immediately following it said, "I knew that gift was you." Ok, cue tears. Then it went on to say how since September 6th 2012, she had stolen his heart.  At this moment, Allison bursted into tears, she now knew exactly who this letter was coming from.  The letter ended with, "Allison, ever since we met, it feels like I have waited a lifetime for this moment to arise. Ladies, can you please escort Allison to the lakefront where I would like to personally speak to her."

The girls start to walk down off the Cliffs from where we were taking pictures.  You then saw the high top tent and church pews that Daniel had set up.  As we all rounded the corner, you saw Allison's parents, Daniel's mom, and Daniel's friends that all had gathered for the occasion. Daniel was standing at the bottom of the hill waiting for his girlfriend, Allison, to walk down.

He took Allison over to a table that was decorated so nicely with flowers, a sign, and scrapbooks of their previous two years together.  From this point on, Daniel was expressing his love for Allison and how much he cared for her.  After a couple minutes of talking with her, it was the BIG MOMENT!

He proceeded to get down on his knee. Allison responded with a big “Yes!!”, jumped into his arms and completely forgot about the ring.

From then on, they all celebrated the newly engaged couple with champagne, lots of tears, more pictures, and quite a few hugs.

I am so glad that I was able to partake in this special occasion for the both of them and all their family and friends.  I am wishing the newly engaged a very happy life.  I can't wait to see what the future holds for the soon to be Beebe's.

PS.  Their hashtag is absolutely adorable.  #BridetoBeebe
